Jo offers a whole body approach trying to find the cause of the injury rather than just treating the symptom. Every session is tailor made to you with 1:1 hands on treatment and exercise prescription with clear advice on activity modification and treatment pathway all aimed at putting you in control of your injury and recovery.
Jo has a vast experience treating a multitude of injuries including sports injuries, back/neck injuries, whiplash, cervical headaches, adolescent sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, post fractures, joint and soft tissue injuries and women's health issues such as urinary incontinence, pelvic floor insufficiency, pre and post natal pelvic girdle pain and diastasis (a particular interest).
Jo provides the physiotherapy and sports massage for Henley Royal Regatta and Women's Henley Regatta.
During your treatment Jo will use various techniques these may include soft tissue techniques, mobilisation, exercises (including a home exercise program), modified Pilates and core stability, biofeedback and muscle stimulation, acupuncture, activity modification and injury advice including prevention, biomechanical assessment and electrotherapy (treatment ultrasound).
